Christine
Finally put up some pics of my trip to Compass Bank's attorney Brooks to pay my judgment.
I just got the second judgment, won't pay that in person.
9/30/02 - I almost got arrested trying to pay the first judgment (http://forum.creditcourt.com/discus/messages/22/533.html)

"BTW, what was he saying while you were snap, snapping away?"
I think that was about when he told me to get out or his people would call 911.
Just realized I forgot to add to the page that he told me that I needed to get a lawyer to explain to me why I need to pay those $30 transcript fees.
The first few pictures of him were just his hand :) I think he didn't like my taking pictures.
And, I will send him the link with my request to pay the 2nd judgment and the remaining balance for the first judgment.
I wonder how Compass Bank is going to like this, I'll put the link in the upcoming press release.

Amazing!
Lets hope he uses some of that payment to get a better haircut... or a better toupe.

My 11/12 fax asking for a total so I can pay the judgments (http://forum.creditcourt.com/discus/messages/22/582.html)
"Re: Request for statement for judgments 801-02-CV-946-UN and 801-02-CV-1257-UN
Dear Mr. Brooks:
I would like to pay the above referenced judgments and I have yet to receive any statement.
As you may recall, I made a special trip to your office on 9/30/02 and I had to get police assistance to get you to accept my partial payment for the first judgment as you did not have a total figure. You advised that you were waiting for the 2nd judgment, which was subsequently signed on 10/2/02. So, I presume you've had that judgment for well over a month.
On 9/30/02 you told me that you are charging additional fees on top of the amount of the judgments, including interest, filing fees and a $30 or so "transcript" fee. You refused to explain this "transcript" fee to me and demanded that I retain an attorney to explain it to me. Please provide me with a description or possibly copy of this "transcript" for review by my legal advisers.
I'd really like to be able to satisfy these judgments so that I have complete records of my damages prior to filing in federal court and of course for my publications. If you need any assistance, please advise. Please respond via fax to 571-222-1000 or e-mail to christine@bayhouse.com.
Sincerely, "
I really don't understand why this is so difficult!

:) nice ending.... is he aware of your sites?

you should see what happens if i try to touch or hug. jokes float about my office about aids, leprosy, and smallpox-- my colleagues take their telephone handsets and computer keyboards home so i can't put hands on them. at first i thought this guy was happy to have won his case. so much for my social skills--- in the unspoken languages i know, this expression means "fine, i hope you're also feeling better."
perhaps that's why i majored in linguisitcs at harvard, and pick up on the lunacy of FICO so readily. let's put in on MIT-- they sent a perennial "we regret" letter when i applied for admission, and harvard gladly accepted me. no alma mater rivalry implied or intended as i continually condemn FICO scoring as the academic demerit and curse upon the american dream it inherently is.

Now Experian reports the judgment with Compass Bank as Plaintiff: http://forum.creditcourt.com/discus/messages/22/628.html
And yes, Compass Bank and Brooks must be aware as I mentioned the site in one of my filings.
