View Full Version : I need urgent advise!

I had a chase account (as an AU) verified twice by experian. This account was promptly deleted by TU and EQ when I disputed it as "belongs to primary acct holder".

To cut a long story short, I wrote to Chase demanding they remove the tradeline. I got a call back and I was told they did "extensive" searching and they did not find my name under any acct, and not sure why it was being verified. The lady then asked me if I could send a copy of my report to her, so they know how it's reporting.

My question is, does chase have the right to ask for my report? If they do, what should I send them.. the whole thing? But basically, whats the best way to handle a situation where an OC says they can't find my account, yet experian verifies it twice?

Thanks a lot in advance

Christine
Chase has no right to require your report.

Here's the million dollar question: WHO verified the account?

And while the bureaus are supposed to tell you, all I ever get is the generic by phone, mail, or electronically.

You could have Chase send you a letter saying they have no record of your account, and you forward it to Experian. I would get the letter and request the investigation data from Experian, and sue them if they don't provide it.

But, some people prefer to do a lot of letter writing instead:
