Newbie with Questions about scores

I want to improve my credit score. My cc with providian
Is over the limit so they close my Actt. last month. If i
continue paying the mim. payment then I will never bring down the balance. My question is should I go with Genus or make higher monthly payment (the last would hurt my monthly
Budget greatly). What should I do???

I surely wouldn't go with a CCCS as that will be a fine mess to get in. Try as hard as you can to get that balance down below your limit. Make those higher payments reducing the amount owed which will raise your score.


Now you say you want to improve your scores. Well what are they? Are you planning on something in the near future. Lots of ambiguity here. You need to be more specific.

You could be paying Genus (Amerix) for 3 years and still owe about as much as you owe now.
