accounts transferred or sold

First of all, thank you Christine for keeping this forum alive and kickin'!:)
I'm trying to repair my credit. This is what I need help on (among other areas of my CR). This shows an Eq. notification, and I need to know what step to follow now in these 2 accounts. Thanks a lot.

I'm not sure what your question is, and there's more than that one line to each account.

well the good news is in the sunny state of flordia where I assume you are from open accounts aka credit cards have a 4 year statute of limitations. That is, if they sue you then you have an affirmative defense. You do not have to pay the debt off now so make sure you do not talk to them on the phone.If they keep bugging you then send a cease and desist letter stating the SOL is up. If they sue or continue to bother you then come back here and I am sure someone can help or go to creditnet.com or cardreport.com (why chat on the board can help you on this site with sol defenses). The only problem is for the next 2 years and 8 months you are stuck with them on your credit report although on around november 25th or so send certified a notice of dispute to all 3 CRAs that the accounts is not listed correctly. With 2 holiday periods during the 30 days you have a better chance of deletion.

picantel, I forgot to mention before, these accounts are zero balance.... but their status "5" is still there bothering...

well just send certified to the 3 CRAs(will cost you like $13 total dollars) around nov 22 or 23 and wait out the 30 days. who knows what will happen to the most special credit repair month of the year.
