View Full Version : When do CCC's submit

jymanes
Do the CB's have a certain date that CCC's submit account information. I heard somewhere that it is toward the end of the month.

I just paid some accounts before due the date to make my CB reporsts look as good as possible next month.

I have also noticed that accounts do not always get updated,
I think it was mainly mortgage company's which which are probably a month behind.

Any information on this subject would be appreciated.

What do you mean by "CCC?" Credit counselors don't report at all.

Also, for the benefit of the readers whose life doesn't revolve around credit, please take the extra 5 seconds to just type what you mean.

If you pay off credit cards BEFORE the due date, the new low balance SHOULD be reported. But since the reporting varies by company, it's best to subscribe to the Experian monitoring service and check your report until you know how/when YOUR accounts are reported.

Not only is the 30 trial free, but CreditExpert is paying commissions again for the free trial.

It is my experience, from the use of http://www.consumerinfo.com/ that the information that comes onto your Experían credit report is always marked the last day of the month.

This information usually shows up around the 15-25th of the next month. However, some creditors won't update the information for several months. Quite annoying, especially when you've made a large payment to them for the sole purpose of improving your credit score.

My Target Visa always reports the statement balance.

Christine...

You are right, we need to take a few extra seconds and type out what we mean. I forget that I have seen terms that drive me up a wall such as, FCRA - Fair Credit Reporting Agency, FDCPA - Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, CRRR - Certified Mail Return Receipt Requested, etc., etc.

It was my impression that CCC could stand for Consumer Credit Counseling Service or Credit Card Company, depending on the subject, and that CCCS was used most of the time for Credit Card Counseling Service..

I also used CB for Credit Bureau where CRA is usually used. (Credit Reporting Agency.)

But I agree we need to KISS. Hmmm....I think that means Keep it Simple Stud? :)

Back to Business. I use both Experian & Equifax monitering services. I think Shylock is right, that there is a date around the end of the month that either the Credit Bureau polls or the Credit Card Company's send in updates. For the next couple of months it is very important to keep my balances very low on my Credit Reports. Any additional information that anyone can verify I would really appreciate being passed on.

Just look at your old reports and compare to your statements. That'll tell you for sure.

BTW, with Experian you want to SAVE your report, I use a format such as "experian-1-24-03--680" to save, makes it easy to find.

The 680 is their worthless score, but since I'll sue them, I'm keeping track, I'm going to bring up how their fake score is so screwed up, well, just like Fair Isaac scores. Experian shouldn't be allowed to sell those scores.

And on abbreviations, when I see CA I think Central America. And when it's supposed to mean Collection Agency, it's often an incorrect term as many collections are collected by collectors, NOT collection agencies. It was important to a collector's attorney once, I'm paying attention now :)

And CCCS is actually a company name like Coke or Kleenex, used generically for similar products. There's THE Consumer Credit Counseling Service - and they've complained to me about using their name when talking about other credit counselors. "Consumer credit counseling" is the generic term used on credit reports, regardless of the company.

Frankly, I couldn't care less, unless I get confused!

BTW ???? does that mean But Tiss Worhless with Experian???

:) Jus kidden...please dunt jump on me again, already lost all my hair from women pullin it out.

Thanks for the information, should have done that with Experian since you can't pull past dates like you can with Equifax. My score with them is 729 the highest of all my scores. (I can't remember if they have a FAKO or not. My latest discussion was with Trans Union. You probably don't remember that I'm trying to get this collection off my reports where HL&P didn't bank draft a utility bill on a rent house and sent it to a collection agency,

The report said deleted, but when I called it to question the the score of 622 the rep. said it wasn't deleted.

My questions were

Factor 1: Lenght of time oldest bank revolving account has been established is to short. 26 year mtgs on report?????

Factor 2: To many recent opened accounts. A bunch in 2001 because of low or no interest offers. (6 I think) But cards since 91.
Factor 3: Total balance of personal finance accounts to high:
I have over 100,000 available in credit cards with 1,300 owing sears with no payment, no interest till Jan 2004. 54,000 in Mtgs (thats the 26 years been paying on) + 5,000 in a commercial loan.

Factor 4: Too many derogatory accounts or public records:
Yes I do have an IRS lien for 125,000 taken care of in 99, and that 210 dollar HL&P collection that they said was deleted but when I called to question the above factors, found it it wasn't.

I won't even get in to the reps ans. to my questions.....

Bottom line I just got approved on another mtg. and there score was over 700...710 I think.

His answer to the difference was in score some company's use the low score...

O He** it's 1:15 CST (Central Standard Time...he, he) an ima gonna hab another drink....ana gets rid of all my probs till tumorrow morn.....darn dey always come bak dont de!!!

I do appreciate your help.
