I had filed for bankruptcy relief on 12/97..By 3/98 I was granted a discharge. I reaffirmed 3 accounts Sears, fnanb circuit city and whirlpool financial. All in good standing prior to filing
Whirlpool financial bank closed my account after I paid off the balance. Is this an option for the creditor and what if any does this impact my credit history
Second question. Since my discharge in 3/98 I have obtained my credit reports almost annually. Having been unaware of the laws
until recently thanks to this forum I found quite a few nonpermissable inquires and A/R on my reports from 3/98 to present. Would someone give me their thoughts on what course of action I might take (1-10) to correct inaccurate reporting as well how to seek damages if this becomes an issue.
