Fair, Isaac Announces Arrival of Affirmative Action to Scoring Module
FICO®, Top Brand in Credit Scoring, offers long awaited program on a trial basis
SAN RAFAEL, Calif. – April 1, 2003 - Today Fair, Isaac and Company, Inc. (NYSE: FIC) announced that in recognition of todays U.S. Supreme Court ruling in regards to Affirmative action, Fair Isaac will allow a Sixty Day window to begin Today, April 1, 2003 for affirmative action FICO scoring Increases. “We are happy to announce the ability for anyone to purchase additional points to add to their score”,said Sue Simon, Fair, Isaac vice president of myFICO. "It opens the way for people to take better control of their financial standing and attract the credit offers they deserve. We will open the pearly gates to credit bliss by allowing this one-time window to purchase additional FICO Points.
"
The FICO score is the "gold standard" score used by the great majority of financial institutions to make billions of credit decisions each year, including more than 75 percent of mortgage loan originations. More than 40 of the nation's 50 largest financial institutions rely on the FICO score to determine an individual's credit worthiness.
The Cost? Analysts say that this new project will bring in badly needed funds to Fair Isaac’s coffers. “I fully expect no less then seventy-three percent of U.S. credit cardholders to take advantage of this service,” Bill Gordan, Affirmitive Credit Action Center’s director stated. “FICO will no longer be known as RNG, or Random Number Generator”.
Tonya Relfee, President of the California Based UYGF Faculty, estimated the average cost per FICO point to be at Seventy-Seven cents. “The cost per point will increase as the score gets closer to 720”.
Analysts say Fair, Issac shares could double at the open of the stock market on Wednesday.

This is the funniest thing I've read in a while. Is there someone that should get credit?
The only thing missing are some direct numbers to Fair Isaac, imagine the calls they'd get :)
